# Zoho Desk integration with Reekolect

### Use Case

The Zoho Desk integration allows businesses to seamlessly integrate their chatbot with Zoho Desk, enabling efficient management of customer support inquiries, ticket creation, and updates directly from the chatbot platform..

### Pre-requisite

To set up this integration, you'll need:

* A Zoho Desk account

### Steps to Enable the Integration

1. **Navigate to the “Third-party Integration” Section:**
   * In your chatbot platform, go to the settings or integrations section and locate the "Third-party Integration" option.
2. **Connect to Zoho Desk:**
   * Click on the "Connect" button and choose Zoho Desk from the list of available integrations.
   * Follow the prompts to authenticate and connect your Zoho Desk account.
3. **Mapping the Variables:**
   * Once connected, you'll see a screen where you can map the chatbot’s answers to the fields of your Zoho Desk.
   * Add fields such as "Organization Name" and "Department Name" to your Zoho Desk mapping.
   * Select bot questions from the "Question" dropdown or manually enter parameter names.
   * Map these questions to parameters in your Zoho Desk. If dropdowns are not available, enter the parameter names manually.
   * Add new variables as needed using the "Add Parameter" button.
   * Click "Save" to activate your integration.
4. **Test Your Integration:**
   * Open your chatbot and simulate a conversation to create a new ticket in Zoho Desk.
   * Verify that the ticket information is correctly sent to Zoho Desk and reflects accurately in your Zoho Desk account.

### Disconnecting the Integration

To disconnect the integration:

1. Open the integration page under bot management.
2. Find the Zoho Desk integration and click on it.
3. Click on the "Disconnect" button to disconnect the integration.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.reekolect.ai/reekolect-resource-center/how-reekolect-works/bot-management/3rd-party-apps-integrations/zoho-desk-integration-with-reekolect.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
